This experience combines the pleasure of walking in the woods of Mount Titano with the visit of the main highlights, which are symbols of the Old Land of Freedom. The tour starts from Borgo Maggiore. Along the Cliff footpath you will hear about the origin of Mount Titano, plants and animals of this peculiar habitat located at a few steps from the old town centre. At the Third Tower, we will continue with the highlights of the oldest republic in the world: the Three Towers, the main church, Liberty Square and the Government Building between stories, curiosities and anecdotes. This will be a perfect opportunity to meet people of the past and to look at San Marino from a different perspective, which underlines the close relationship between the community, Mount Titano and the Mercatale, three elements that became part of World Heritage in 2008.

Grade of difficulty: Average. Some parts of the trail are quite steep while the tour in the old town centre is for everybody.
