A relaxing walk along the streets of San Marino’s city centre (World Heritage since 2008) to discover the sights of the oldest Republic in the world. During this tours, you will learn about San Marino’s history and traditions in details. You can choose if you want to see all the Three Towers or spend some time visiting a museum or a monument, which represent our centuries-old history.

Starting point: Porta San Francesco – Main entrance in the lower part of the city centre, at a short walking distance from coach parks P1 and P2. The tour will continue towards Cava dei Balestrieri (Crossbowmen’s Quarry) or Piazzetta Garibaldi, then Piazza della Libertà (Liberty Square), the Basilica of Saint Marinus (cathedral), First, Second and Third Tower (fortifications in the upper part of the city centre).

It is possible to customize the tour by adding the visit to one or more monuments/museums (entrance for a fee and according to availability).

State Museums include: the First Tower, the Second Tower, the Government Building, the State Museum, the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery, the Coin and Stamp Museum, San Francis’s Art Gallery, the Museum of Emigration (free of charge, reservation required), Museum of Natural History (free of charge, reservation required).
